Wade has been captured on multiple wiretaps with agent-runner Christian Dawkins, the since-convicted felon who faces more charges in a trial later this month. Dawkins' attorney, Steve Haney, told Yahoo Sports this week that Wade has been subpoenaed by defense attorneys in the case. There's a chance that subpoena could end up being challenged.

This makes sense now.

This makes absolutely zero sense. The yahoo story was about fbi wiretaps why would they wait till a Yahoo article to act on their own information

Time to dump WW and move on! Players are jumping ship and it's clear the fans need to also move on and focus on who will be the next head coach! When the FBI comes to your front door step, it's time to pull the plug. WW is not worth all this mess!

Look at this simplistically. Is it a crime to pay a recruit?

And yet no interest in investigating the SEC football officials or the blown call in the NFC Championship game in which 4 officials were from California ?
The FBI ain’t what it used to be.

Hmm, I work for the DOJ where FBI agents are frequently coming and going and I haven’t heard the slightest about this. I do not buy any of it.

So FBI has been in town lately and NOW Wade wants a sit down with LSU brass? I’d say this could be a good development potentially.

After LSU coach Will Wade's indefinite suspension from the school on March 8, FBI agents were in Baton Rouge investigating his recruiting tactics,

This is total BS. They've known about WW for nearly 2 years and suddenly now they decide to investigate?!?! This is more BS to try and sabotage his recruiting efforts. They succeeded in sabotaging LSU's NCAA run, now they want to sabotage their recruiting. The traditional powers that be won't allow an upstart program to succeed without a fight. Total BS!!!

That included a Louisiana-based FBI agent active in Baton Rouge the following week, conducting in-person work regarding Wade.

While they were in town, they should have made the trip over to that POS barber shop over there in amite

First of all.. frick yahoo.

But why would the FBI investigate his recruiting tactics, after he was suspended due to a yahoo article that published his conversation that was caught on wiretap by the FBI?

And what would he be doing that is worse than any other program to the point it gained the FBI's interest?

This is something I said before, I am not a conspiracy theorist and I hate to even say something like this because I feel like a crazy person who believes all kind of crazy stuff, but there seems to be someone or people who is behind this whole thing.

It's just the timing of all of this, the fact that there is more focus on LSU & Will Wade than other programs.

If you read this article. How is this not the same as Will Wade's situation?

LINK

And if Kansas offered Zion $100k & a new home for his parents, why would no one look into what Duke is doing since he went there? Common sense would tell you that Duke made a better offer (we don't have anything to prove that, but if this whole situation was about trying to find out what programs are paying players, looking into Duke would be an obvious move).

This whole situation still blows my mind.

The only thing I can come up with is that there are other programs.. Traditional basketball school programs, that were threatened by Will Wade.

Why is the FBI not doing more meaningful work? Yet another reason why it should not exist.
