Hardest boss you’ve ever fought in a video game?

My picks would either be:
Ornstein and Smough from DS1 (not counting using co-op to beat them which makes it far easier)
or
The Nameless King from DS3 (again not counting co-op)
Both of those fights playing solo fricking sucked arse

Omega Weapon-ff8
Ozma-ff9
I remember watching a buddy grind forever to get Knights of the Round in ff7 back when it first came out thinking that would kill the weapons and it barely put a dent in them lol

Ruby gave us lots of trouble. At the time that was definitely the hardest boss. I wanna say FFX have a boss that was really hard in the Omega Ruins (I think that's the name) but I don't remember.

He was tough too... O&S has gotten easier for me over the years, but I still have nightmares of the first time I entered that boss fight.

fricking Carbon Cat from The Surge. Love that game and had a blast playing it. It's a Soulsborne-type game, so all the bosses are tough and take some time, but Carbon Cat wrecked my fricking life for several sessions.

Alma wasn't bad on NGB until Master Ninja mode. the enemies they add in makes it bullshite. NGB still the best action game of all time. Perfection.
