Beto O'Rourke
Pochahantas
Kirsten Gillibrand
Crazy Uncle Joe (?)
Those appear to be the "major" candidates who are running. Simply stated, it's the most laughable group of presidential candidates ever assembled.
My prediction? The Democrat Party is imploding to such an extent that we will see the emergence of a new party by 2024. The Democrat Party is a dead man walking.

That said, outside of the two old men (Sanders will be 79 on Election Day, Biden will be two weeks shy of 78), there is nothing but mediocrity or worse as far as the eye can see.
What have any of the rest of the field accomplished with their lives?

Granted, that is an awful list - but let's not pretend that the GOP list in 2016 was significantly better.
Please point out the equivalent to Ted Cruz or Rand Paul on this list. Or for that matter, Scott Walker. Walker might've had very little charisma as a candidate, but he had accomplishments as Governor of Wisconsin that no Democrat on this 2020 list can even come close to matching.

The 2016 GOP field only appears weak because Jeb was the presumptive nominee. I was pretty happy with most of the candidates. Kasich and Jeb were outliers.
