well the attrition one year out is simply incredible. how many guys are transferring out? 4 so far?

PLEASE MAKE IT STOP. Get a life and quit dumping on LSU football. In real life, not everything works out as planned. None of these guys can compete with the product we are putting on the field. It happens. Quit poisoning the well...

Well signing 25 a year and having an 85 man roster limit means you need at least 15 kids to leave over a 4 year period. Not counting walk ons that get scholarships also cutting into that number.

3 of the 5 lowest rated guys have decided to leave.

class will end up like most. Some studs at the top. Few program guys. And the guys transfering now

i think it speaks more on the strength of this roster right now

Recruiting classes are judged 3-4 years down the road. If you get 10 or so good players who are regular starters out of a class, it's a good class.

I don't think you understand Lester.

We lost an H-back that Matt Canada hand picked.

You don't just replace that.

That's on Orgeron directly. That is HIS position and his ONLY area of expertise. If he can't sign great lineman, then his importance to this program continues to be diminished

He's the head coach. Do you realize how ridiculous the above statement is?

Where are you guys getting 4? The number on NSD was 8 or 9 (depending on Taylor).

You right. I just didn't want to do the research. My point remains valid, we NEEDED these guys to transfer out. This is not a bad thing.

The 2017 class also included Delpit, Vincent, Phillips, Stevens, Chaissin, Jefferson, carter, CEH, Ferrell, Deculus and Harris...

2018 needs to step up

Already has 5 transfers and 2 JUCOs who can’t see the field (Moore and Traore)

Who didn't see that coming? The guy had like 1 tackle in two years at JUCO.

Agree. BEST situation by far. The negative people ruined the 2018:class anyway. Their was no way to,over come the hate Orgeron noise in 2018. So,we did it to ourselves

i like how you tell me to quit "poisoning the well" when we're processing kids like Saban (something this board used to lose their shite over)

pretty sure D Scott would rather people on this board say he doesn't deserve an LSU scholly than lose an actual LSU scholly

which one "poisons the well" more

You should inform the coaches and NCAA that we still have two counters available from Burrow and Alexander because you say so.

Kelvin Joseph, JaMarr Chase, and Terrace Marshall say wassup. So what if a few 3*'s decide to transfer; for all we know they were asked to transfer given our 85 limit woes this offseason.

LSU had to get to the 85 scholarship limit. All these kids going in the portal are being processed out.

I think you missed the point, which was we usually find a gem or 2 that's lowly ranked. The 2018 class doesn't seem to have that (high school ranks).

You make a good point, but I think it was easy to miss considering the OP called the 2018 class "disaster level". Certainly nobody at the bottom has panned out, but calling the class a disaster because of this is a stretch.
