100% would wear if I planned on getting in a fight at the Frosty Factory or Cowboy's.

ETA: I didn't think that anybody would outdo Huck for trashy fishing clothing but damn they blew them out of the water.

Of course, you will have the folks that will crap all over the show to keep up their too cool for school OT cred.

Exactly.

My daughter and I happened upon the show in New Orleans a few years ago when my wife was working one Saturday and we were doing a day out of the house. She was 4 or 5 at the time and completely ate it up. Loved all the boats and fishing stuff. She’s 7 now and looks forward to this every year. Begs me to take her fishing every time after we go. I’ll support little things like this that can peak her interest in the outdoors.

Yes there’s an inordinate amount of junk, as to be expected. But you find little gems every year. The dip mixes are legit. I happened across the Crappie Psychic booth my first time and now buy some every time I go. That stuff is pretty awesome and works a hell of a lot better than any of the store bought stuff.

I really want a new kayak. If Massey’s is running specials

We are going to have a Bass Cat on display. Brochures will be available. Trying to get the word out there’s a south Louisiana/Gulf Coast BCB dealer now.

Going tomorrow. Can’t wait to see how many rotomolded coolers there are now. Hope to pick up a new Swamp Geauxer cap and T-shirt. May get a couple of Marsh Mantra T-shirts, too.

Seriously, anyone see any good deals on rods and reels?

Bowie has their booth i went yesterday and they have the usual 20$ off falcon rods..and all ya regular brands are discounted some. Saw a few new booths with good products..they got rid all the dumb t shirt vendors besides a few...a lot of boats this year.

I’ll be at the aqua traction booth tomorrow helping him out. It’s like sea dek. Come and see us

Just got back and I agree with WHODAT. This year is much better than years past. Just a heads up, no one realizes there is a food vendor setup in the back near bass tank with 1/10th the line as the front one near dog jumping. Best food there is the smoked pork plate in grass area in front of bass tank. They are roasting a whole pig... cant miss it.

CCA brought some talent. I almost considered signing up.

The first 2-3 were at he municipal auditorium and were great. 25 cent draft beers.

The first couple in the dome and needing to fill all that floor space was where the dream catcher invasion started.

Then it really became obsolete with the e commerce era.

Not worth the time and effort witha free pass

It’s way better than the one in the dome so this is the one we usually try to make.

Was pretty good. Lot less t shirts and more boats as was mentioned earlier.

Did not see the Fins people this year, hope I didn’t just overlook it.

Bass cat was a sweet looking rig.

Brother and me went Friday for our first time there and enjoyed it. A change of pace from the Superdome show and more things to keep kids interested.

Plenty of baw stuff and good stuff too.

Will be back next year.
