Agreed. I did not know there was a legal requirement on schools to not allow students in based on their parents giving up shitloads of money.

If anything, they should be arresting the administrators of colleges who accept the bribes, not the people paying them.

Allright, just read the charges. In some cases the parents were actually defrauding the school without their ( the school's) knowledge by creating fake profiles and having people take the SAT or ACT for the student as in the case of Huffman. In Loughlin's case they paid 500K to a third party to create a bogued up profile of heir kids being on the crew team despite the fact that the kids never did crew. They were securing scholarships for the kids.
My own observation is that Huffman is in real trouble but Aunt Becky is more than likely just going to have egg on her face maybe subject to a criminal charge far fraud....I mean the coaches of USC crew should have known this stuff as well as the administration. In Huffman's case she out and out paid somebody to take the entrance exam for her kid.....of course John Calipari did the same thing for Derrick Rose at the University of Memphis....neither are in jail and that was defrauding a state institution
