I think they have a good safety record. The 737 has some issues if I recall. This is the same type of plane involved in the lion air crash.

Reminds me of the local evening news in New Orleans when they would report live from the scene of a shooting or fire. There would almost always be some kids or young adults in the crowd cutting up because they were on tv. I’m sure it goes on in other cities, too.

I was in the adjacent motor pool making copies and prepping for a mission when that occurred. Everyone ran out like they gonna help folks in a plane engulfed in flames. I kept making copies. Good times.
