Government spending is a much bigger threat than Russia. Rome for example

fricking warhawks. Pull all our troops home and let’s circle the wagons already. Build the fricking Wall. We do not need to get intervene with the military in Venezuela. How many American lives is Venezuela worth? 0.

But think about it. Venezuela can be used as a staging area foe the ultimate goal of Antarctica.

That clipboard from John Bolton with 50,000 troops in Colombia on it was no accident.

It was 5,000 and I am sure that was done on purpose.

We've had a historical presence in Columbia training the Anti-FARC forces.

Because Galaga is way better than Tetris?

Because we suck at Tic-Tac-Toe?

Or maybe they just hate Ally Sheedy?

Too late for that. Russians are in Cuba and Venezuela. Both of which were far better off before they arrived but that's what the fuss is about.

There's absolutely no need for us to send any troops there, def. wouldn't support that.

We can get involved in non-personnel ways.

And we should pay the revolutionaries money like we did in Afghanistan in the 80’s to make the reds bleed red. I don’t think we should send troops there either.

I'm opposed to military intervention. The people of Venezuela voted for communism. They got it.

Blockade their ports and create a no fly zone over the country. No need for boots on the ground beyond a few special forces teams.

The only reason I’d be interested in any way in being somewhat involved in Venezuela is to keep illegal immigration down and prevent and migrant crisis like Europe has been dealing with.

But then again, the only reason Europe is dealing with a migrant crisis is because we all got ourselves involved in Syria and North Africa.

I just believe that it's in the United States best interest to not allow the Venezuela situation to get out of hand. That means some kind of intervention, does it have to be a full blown invasion no it doesn't. It will require a certain measured action though.
