The Church Academy, which opened in 1981, will close its Baton Rouge school campus at the end of the school year, according to a report from WAFB.
The private Christian school, formerly known as The Christian Life Academy, sent an email to students and parents announcing the closure. Principal Blaine Thompson told the families that school officials decided to close the school because of low "participation," the television station reported.
The closure will only impact the 55-acre campus at 2037 Quail Drive. It will not affect The Church Academy's other campuses.

Where will the weird kids go now?

Should not have gone full Christian. They stopped teaching evolution and started teaching creationism

Not surprising. Lot's of folks that had previously enrolled their kids at Christian Life found new schools for their kids to attend after it was taken over by The Church.

Of all teams we played, I remember Christian Life being the biggest dirt bags with the most unsportsmanlike players and coaches.

Wow that was fast. Didn’t “the church” just took over CLA?

Why did Christian Life become The Church Academy in the first place?

Went there K-8. I remember in elementary school they had a speaker come to chapel and tell us all how ridiculous evolution was and that scientists say we came from squirrels

I wonder if we will see a magnet school purchase the property...

That church and school really screwed up some good woodcock, rabbit, and squirrel hunting.
