Same job you do now. Same benefits. Same everything but on a 10p to 6a.

Worth it?

Depends on how much you’re making now.

If you’re a hatin pussy like most of the OT you’d say no.
If you have a brain you’d bust your arse to get ahead.

Simple answer: yes

Absolutely.

Less people to have to deal with, and double the money.

I used to work the 2AM-10AM, and later the 4AM-noon shifts. I loved it.

I'm in sales and can come and go as I please. Nights would be perfect. All my customers would be asleep. I'd have nothing to do and get paid more. I'd probably just crank the ring volume up on my phone and sleep myself. Where do I sign up?

I've done a variety of deployments for a lot less money, so I'd definitely say yes as long as I get to go home from 6a-10p.

Wouldn't be too bad. Weekends would kinda suck though...you would spend most of your Saturday sleeping.

But double the money and same job? Sure...if I can just do it for a couple of years. Would be perfect the last 3 years prior to my retirement so my pension is higher.

Yes, but not indefinitely. Working nights sucks. I can never really adjust to sleeping through the day.

I already do nights, while staying in hotels. Sucks, but it pays the billls.

Most of us here have worked the night shift, baw. Most of us are just educated enough to have an option now. That 9-5 is nice.

No. I have joint custody and will not miss my time with the kids. Some things are more important.
