Hell no.

Increased overall health risks, plus I'd miss out on glorious sunshine in an attempt to sleep.

I make enough money, more wouldn't make me any happier.

Sure, I do most of my work on my laptop at night anyway, plus I am a night owl. Some of my work can't be done at night and while it would suck I would switch over for those days.

Come home from work around 6:30am, take the kids to school. Sleep from 7:30-3:30 wake up in time for kids to be home. Wouldn’t really mess with your family life too much

And, miss the affection of my woman, each night???

Oh, wait, I’m married. Might as well work.

I did it for a year while at JVC.

4 weeks of days then switched to 4 weeks of nights.

That’s cool. My belief is that we sacrifice so that our kids can stand on our shoulders. But balance that with seeing them & raising them and not going crazy in the mean time.

More money, but increase the chance of disease/cancer and decrease life expectancy on night shifts.

Been there /done that... Nope.

Worth it?

Considering it's pretty common in my industry, absolutely.

Definitely. Not like it's a life commitment. I can do it for a year or two,

Yeah I would. I worked nights in an office setting for years. No distractions, no bullshite. Finish my work and watch YouTube on the side until quitting time.

I'd consider it... a few years of double my pay and we could be 100% debt free, then switch back and enjoy life.

It would suck though, for sure.

No. I'd rather make ends meet and be happy and spend time with my family, kids and hobbies than to be rich, divorced and miserable with kids with daddy issues.

i mean i'm living well off of my current salary. Double that and I could bank all of that second salary and not miss it. speeds up my retirement options.

10 to 6 is tough because nothing is open on either end to get stuff done. But for double? Yup.
