I just got a STYKU scan today at spectrum in Denham. Cost $20. This was my first scan but It was quite humbling. Im in decent shape, 170 @ 5’11”. Scan says I’m 21.6% body fat, was expecting to be around 12.

dexafit is good. Also inbody scans are good too, pretty accurate. but in the end even with dexa its all about the trend, not a single point of data.

Are you a member there? That’s really close to me, so that would be ideal. Just wondering it it’s more if you’re not a member.

I’m kinda nervous to see what it says about me for sure!

Doesn't matter what it is. All inaccurate. Just use a trend line.

He means pick a method, stick to it. Is the trend showing you losing or gaining?

Did a Styku and a Dex proabably about a month ago. One said i was 14.3 the other said I was 25.

I'm 5'9'' 185. Would say honestly I'm right in the middle of those 2. Not seeing abs really but also no way am I 25% if that makes sense.

As said, none are accurate completely, just use them as a guide and see how numbers go

might as well use calipers as they are much cheaper.

dexa is gonna get you damn close to real number. Most people are way higher than they believe. this is a pretty good example, pick honestly what you are closest too.

for example i am 14% according to dexa here

even then, its a question do you pinch a little or a lot. better off just getting an inbody scan fasted every 3 weeks or so or just keeping track of the naval tape measurement while eating a ton of protein. if you are eating protein and lifting and the naval measurement is going down, all is well.
