Pack up yourself and your dismal opinion and head over to the More Sports board.
Like others have said, you have tens of thousands of Saints fans that have invested their own meager wages into season tickets, and have done so for decades.
No other city in the NFL has supported, with their hard-earned money, their NFL team like the Saints fans.
The 2018 Saints worked hard and earned the coveted #1 Seed. You'd expect the home team to at least deserve a well-called game from the Refs. MOST home teams get a few calls and the benefit of the doubt.
NOT the Saints. Oh, no. It was evident in three home games, one regular season (vs Dallas), and two playoff games that the Refs were going to allow the opposing Defense to mug our receivers and commit DPI penalties with no consequence whatsoever. Don't believe me? Rams Coach McVay admitted this when he thanked the Refs for letting "the players play". That's a euphemism that commentators use when they want to comment on a game in which the Refs have decided to NOT apply the rules correctly.
Yeah. Let's "let the players play" and forget about the rules -- BUT JUST FOR THIS GAME.
I personally am not interested in being a fan of a sport that refuses to apply the game's rules correctly and consistently. I'd rather watch Craps. Now, THERE is a game in which you'll ALWAYS see the Casino apply the rules CORRECTLY and consistently, without exception.
The NFL is a fraud. The National Fraud League. It's an entertainment and Big Investor Rewards Program masquerading as a pure sporting competition.

This week I have seen more national media and people from other fan bases bitching about the call than people from NOLA. Right now the media, ESPN & NFL Network, are doing more to keep this going than the local people.
BY the way, of you are only listening to local radio stations and local message boards; you will have a larger percentage of local fans bitching because the Pelicans suck & AD wants to be traded can only go so far. Not many people outside of LSU alumni care about LSU basketball.

Is there something else you’d like saints message boards and radio shows to discuss?

So you’re pointing out that a passionate fanbase is still upset about getting robbed of a super bowl appearance. Just brilliant.

I'm tired of half drunk morons calling in and making their case for why the flag should have been thrown over a week later.
And there is a very simple remedy for this: change the fricking channel. The world doesn’t revolve around you.

I work in a nursing home and the residents are STILL talking about and fired up about it.

Because my 83 year old mother is the biggest Saints fan alive. It would have been wonderful to watch the Saints in another Super Bowl with her. The refs and NFL took that away.

Hope someone robs your house, then after a week your sympathy period is over.

Wish I could upvote this 1,000 times. There are people that are legit letting this ruin their lives. Move on. It’s over. I get the saints got fricked and I hate it for them but Jesus Christ enough is enough. In my 28 years of living ive never been more over talking about a subject. At work, in the gym, at the bar. For the love of God it’s time to get the frick over it-
I can’t listen to local sports radio because they still insist on talking about it, even when they’re interviewing somebody who dosent even cover football. I don’t understand what more the fans expect the nfl to do? You can’t honestly and realistically think they’d play it over or send the saints to the super bowl can you? They admitted they fricked up and that’s it.
I’ve always been somebody that has hated the “oh you needa stop taking football so seriously, how can you let something you can’t conrol dictate your happiness, yada yada”crowd, but in this case it’s completely true. We’re now one of this most hated fan bases in the NFL because of the refusal to get over this and it’s just getting embarrassing. this coming from a die hard saints/lsu/football fan.

Thanks to that screw, you won’t get to see the future GOAT on GOAT matchup to determine who really is the GOAT. Plus all the other things everyone said.
Saying, “You got recognized—move on” is almost as bad “Everyone’s human—control the parts of the game you can, so move on.” OP’s take is insulting, and I hope their team suffers our fate.
