He’s retiring from Buffalo mainly because he wants to be closer to home... Nola isn’t far from home, and he’s been one of the best DL in the league for over a decade and still has a lot of juice. Hope we at least kick the tires with him over the offseason and if anything maybe sign him mid season next year for another playoff run

You know who the obvious replacement for Drew Brees is?

Bert Jones

If Sean Payton goes to Cleveland, should we kick the tires on Jerry Stovall?

What makes you think he still has a lot of juice and what makes you think he will move his children from the only home they have ever known?

Kyle is building a mansion at Squire Creek and has five kids, I'm sure he's ready for the life of luxury and golf.

We need to kick the tires on Shaq to see if he wants to play tight end

No thanks. We have Rankins and Onyemata is coming on. If we bring back Davison that's a good 3 man rotation (and we still have Stallworth). That's a good, young core.

Williams would be 36, expensive, and take away from the young guys' development while likely not being any better.

He had 0 sacks over his last 5 games (and only 2 QB hits), and only 1.5 over his last 10. He was clearly losing juice near the end.

That's in stark contrast to Onyemata, who had all 4.5 of his sacks in his last 5 games when he started coming on.

And yes sacks is just one measurement, but they also finished with near identical tackles. Williams had 34 with 21 solo and Onyemata had 35 with 23 solo. Both had 1 batted pass and 1 forced fumble (Williams also had 1 recovery).

Williams did beat him in QB hits 14 to 6, but he also outsnapped Onyemata 656 to 616.

So would you rather an aging Williams who is more expensive, or an young Onyemata who is really starting to come along?

If we were to get another DT I would hope it would be someone more productive or not in their mid-late 30s. So pass on Williams.

Yours is the dumbest post I've read in 2019. I realize that the sample size is limited right now, but you currently hold first place.
