Cell tower ping puts Cohen in Prague in 2016

Full disclosure, the outlet was one of the ones that received the initial piss dosier so there's that.

a) All he showed was the cover of his passport
b) if you were to travel from one EU country to another, you wouldn't necessarily get a passport stamp.

Hillary Clinton's campaign was literally funded by Saudi Arabia and Obama told the Russians on a hot mic he would have more flexibility for them after his election and he flew money to Iran. He also weaponized the IRS and intelligence community against private citizens and political opponents.

I thought it had already been proved he was stateside at the time?
ETA: already answered, he was on visit to usc with his son. I wonder how much investigation is going into finding out how/why the ping hit in Prague. Smells like a setup, will the setup be investigated. Curiouser and curiouser.

Interesting story, but probably won't advance the ball for Mueller any. He'll have subpoenaed the cell phone records and he seized 16 physical phones in the raid (burner phones, Michael. Use the burners...) and I think they were able to image all but one old blackberry. And this all well before the sentencing memo when Mueller told Judge Pauley he'd been very cooperative.

Notice that? Among Russians. No Cohen on the wiretap. No Trump. No Flynn. No Manafort. Just two random Russians making claims over a wide open telephone line they KNEW were being listened to by pretty much every western intel agency out there. Also, the sources didn't tell McClatchy who these Russians were (kinda important). Why not?
This reminds me of the "Kushner back channel" story that came out in early 2017. Remember that? (I believe it was McClatchy that reported that too). They claimed CIA had wiretaps proving Kushner was seeking a back channel with Russians to talk in a secure Russian facility. Only problem is they didn't have Kushner himself on the wiretaps. They had two RUSSIANS discussing it among themselves.
If they had any damning wiretaps of Trump's people and Russians, they would have leaked a long time ago. They leaked Flynn's totally innocuous call with Kislyak, so they would certainly release these.
And, finally, why has Cohen simply not admitted to it? He is out in the press bashing Trump any chance he gets. He has already pleaded guilty to more serious crimes (going to Prague is not a crime). Wouldn't he just fess up by now if it were true? I mean if he wants to hurt Trump this is his chance.
