I gave my SIL’s two boys (12 and 14) each a card with a $50 bill and the youngest one didn’t think it was real. I told him to give it to his brother if he didn’t believe me. He had to google it!

That boggles my mind. Do we just not use $50s anymore as a society?

Got some money out of an ATM a few weeks ago and it gave me 50's. First time I'd handled 50s in a while

Most people don't use 50's. For lower purchases they'll just use 20's, and for higher they'll just carry 100's.

$50 has always been in a weird spot.

I got a $2 bill as part of my change at a convenience store the other day. First one of those I’ve seen in a while.

My dad goes to the bank and gets $50s every year. That is everyone's gift from him.

Car wash change machine gave me $1 coins. Didn’t realize they still had them.

There's something wrong with you if that was your first thought when reading the OP.

If you're just being silly, well done!

If you're serious, seek help.

I love the $1 coin. Wish it would be more prevalent. I like to give them as tips. Just seems fun to flick a $1 coin with your thumb in the air to someone after they get you a drink or whatever.

I actually carry $50 as walking around money. Makes it easier to carry $500-$1000 but without having th awkward use of $100 bills. I find most of my cash purchases are over $20 but under $50.

I'll bet you one of those 50s that the guy before you in line recently went to a strip club and that two dollar bill is covered in glitter, cocaine, and whoresweat.

Protip: Strippers do not like it when you try to tuck a coin in their panties.
