I got a $2 bill as part of my change at a convenience store the other day. First one of those I’ve seen in a while.

Back in my younger years, had a bus driver that would give each kid on our bus a little Christmas card thing with a two dollar bill in it. I know that dude didn't make a lot of money, and for him to do that many years in a row....was a good dude. Thinking back, it makes me wish I'd given something in return....but I'm sure the gift he really wanted was for each of us to think this sort of thought now....be thankful and pay it forward kind of thing. Merry Christmas everyone!

love the $1 coin. Wish it would be more prevalent. I like to give them as tips. Just seems fun to flick a $1 coin with your thumb in the air to someone

I tried this at the Penthouse... they didn’t seem to see the humor in it.

Do we just not use $50s anymore as a society?

No, it just means that not a lot of 12 year olds are using 50s.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever had a $50 and I’m 40.

That came from $50s being bad luck anywhere in the south, because Grant is on the 50.

I’ve heard one of my friend’s dad say “The only way I’d take a $50 is if it was a truckload of them.”

Yep. I keep a few 50s around to pay the housekeeper with. When I go to the ATM, I get 20s and a 100 or two. Then I go to the counter to change the 100s to 50s.

The teller usually assumes I am getting the 50s for a gift and tries to find nice crisp ones. I guess gifting is the primary use of 50s these days..
