i need to go back to the OP and read the rules again to see where it said that the requirements for this poll was that we had to watch each movie back to back in order to develop a current opinion on each matchup

It was in big fricking letters:

quote:

DO NOT VOTE IF YOU HAVENT SEEN EITHER MOVIE IN THE MATCHUP.

No way almost anyone who voted for The Sword in the Stone or The Brave Little Toaster has seen their competition.

You fricking retarded piece of shite. Learn to read.

Nowhere did the OP say that you had to have watched the movies back to back recently which is what I fricking called you out on. You bitched that "if people watched them back to back now, then there is no way they would vote for Sword in the Stone over that japanese shite". That wasn't in the fricking rules.

Your level of melt in this thread is like nothing I've ever seen before.

Jesus christ there was a tie. Going to count that matchup again and use the vote that got in after the voting closed if I need a tie breaker. Here we go

The rules said “don’t vote for anything you haven’t seen”, not “only vote if you have seen both of the two.”

The number of people on this board who have seen Princess Monoke or Spirited Away is probably fairly small. Sword In The Stone, however, is a Disney staple that most of us have seen.

I could do a “best animated show of all time” contest and Gatchaman would get curbstomped in the first round by almost any show just because it has a niche following compared to even the most mediocre of US shows.

Oh who gives a shite about the back to back thing. I’m accusing anyone who voted for their competition as having never seen them and lying about it. I could see some sort of argument with the Lion King, like the villain being better, liking some of the themes more, great soundtrack, epic ending, the stampede scene, etc, but no one can make an argument like this when it comes to The Sword in the Stone or The Brave Little Toaster, because they’ve never seen what they’re up against. I thoroughly believe that these two Miyazaki’s films worst scenes are better than either of those two best scenes. They’re just on that other level, and no one can defend their choice here since they’re lying.

Plus you’re conceding a point that they’re better movies when I said if I showed these two movies back to back that no one could defend it. frick off.

I abstained from one matchup. No, I haven't seen every single movie within the last 5 years, but idc. What I remember and felt when I watched The Sword in the Stone is just as genuine today as it was then.

you're an embarrassment and a childish fricking loser. who in the hell gets this worked up over an internet poll about cartoons? i hope your entire childhood was ruined by the results of this, and for shits and giggles I'll probably vote for inferior option in every round from here on out just to watch your lame arse lose its shite again.

Damn man, i used to really enjoy your posts but Jesus Christ you have gone off the deep end lately.

And I'm pretty sure OP meant that if you have seen neither movie in a matchup don't vote for it, not you cant vote if you have only seen one of them. I have seen neither of the movies you are bleeding about and voted against both of them and if they happen to win this round (they wont) I will vote against them again in the next round.
