Does anyone still send Christmas cards?

By now, there’s a dozen or more piled up on the desk because I don’t allow anything on the fridge (trashy AF).
Are more people sending e-cards now? (Also trashy AF, btw)

Always. But I hand deliver ever since some reports of friends not receiving the year in review letter.

I do. The cards we receive get hung on the fireplace mantel (trashy AF).

I don’t want to see your ugly dog in the foto like it is part of your family

I dont send them but ones received need to go in those little cutesy holders made for that purpose. Not on the fridge or mantel.

We did every year. First year after my wife passed I did send them. Skipped last year. Am doing it this year!

I never sent them. The first wife did. And the second wife did with her first husband. So maybe it’s a first marriage thing? We definitely ain’t got time for all that now. Merry Christmas!

Was going to drop ours off at the post office today but I have this huge boner I’ve been dealing with since last night

We do. E-mail holiday cards seem to be an Indian (from India) thing, but I could be wrong. Every year I get 10-20 of them from old co-workers, but almost exclusively from previous Indian co-workers. Mostly chemists, but a couple of microbiologists and maybe a quality engineer or two.

We were getting all of those pics and year in review cards and suddenly this year, nothing. Odd how it stopped like a light switch.

I don’t understand why they’re necessary. They’re really corny.

For it to really get the message across, you need to personalize it.
That’s why I hand paint each card on canvas, depicting an image of my family, on the beach, where everyone is wearing a white shirt and khakis, but the card recipient is painted in - to show them I consider them to be part of my family.
