Honestly, I thought about it after the second consecutive shutout to Bama and thought about it just now because UT is playing today and LSU is not.

I would like to see Herman with this Texas team versus our schedule. They would have 5 losses. O did fine this year

My only concern with Herman would be missing out on Steve E. as OC. Not sure any other coach in the country besides O would have thought to promote a TE coach from the Miles regime to that position.

People like you must lead miserable lives. You can't wait to get to a computer so that you can complain about LSU football isn't winning every game.

That would be assuming that LSU and Texas have equal talent.

You forgot playing in their conference championship game currently.

These two things have absolutely nothing to do with each other and that narrative is just as old and tired as the OP.

Herman would have us back in the hunt. He’s turning Texas around. With his offense and if Aranda had our d- it’d be exciting times.

yep. and he is playing for hardware in his second year in a P5 conference. he is also rebuilding that team. jimbeaux and mullen are re tooling yet still building on what was left them. not pure rebuilds yet not RE loads either.

Burrow is as good if not better than Sam Ehlinger. The difference is that Texas has better coaching and play calling.

Of course. But he wanted to negotiate. And we all know alleva doesn’t negotiate.

Exactly. Coaches that negotiate are like terrorists to Alleva. And Alleva doesn't negotiate with terrorists.

Both teams are 9-3. Texas has a horrendous loss to Maryland and has faced a much easier schedule.

Herman is a good coach, but he's got plenty of flaws. You just glos over them while making Orgeron's flaws your sole focus.

Beating Bama is a helluva lot taller mountain than beating OU. Give it a rest man.

Thanks. Everyone always posts when he loses to laugh at him and say “glad we didn’t get him!!” But it’s crickets when he’s doing well.

Forget beating bama. Can we beat first year coaches at rebuilding programs?

Now it’s looking more and more like UT is on the rise to prominence.

They're 9-3 which is the same record as us in a weaker conference in his second year

I'd say they're moving in the right direction but we'll know next year if they're going to be elite

So you want to see O with that Texas team? Let them switch places and see how it goes.
