Have you ever lied to get out of a speeding ticket?

One time I got pulled over for speeding after leaving a job interview. The officer asked me why I was speeding and I told him I was late for my interview. I was wearing my suit, showed him my resume and he let me go and told me good luck.
Not the greatest story but I'm sure some have better.

Didn’t lie but I showed the officer I shite myself. He felt bad for pulling me over. I felt worse because I shite myself.

I’ve let the girls breathe to get out of a speeding ticket.
It worked.
It worked.

I kind of lied about something that probably didn’t matter, told the truth about something that I should have lied about, and somehow got out of an arrest.
I had just gotten my license at 16, with an 96 accord a few months later, and so by the time summer came around my best friend and me were “radar loving” for girls as much as we could. I say radar because I grew up around meridian, MS, but by fate had met a bunch of girls from Oak Grove(Hattiesburg) and the both of us ended up friending their whole crew.
Our first trip down for the day was to a girl’s place with her friend, pool, and parents at work. So yeah, I had my accord averaging out around 110 mph on interstate. Being inexperienced, I didn’t take notice of every car ahead tapping breaks going over a hill so I just kept going. Trooper was hid and he clocked me at like 105ish.
Puts me in his car, at which point I was certain I was fricked, so when he asked me why I was going fast, I told him that my buddy and myself were on our way to meet up with some girls for the day. He then asked if I had a job, responsibilities, etc and I lied and said that I worked at the local Pig(not till months later), and he let me go.
Unfortunately, if karma exists, then the good that kept me from going to jail was repaid by neither of us getting laid
We are both 30 now, and still laugh our asses off about it. My buddy had no worries as the passenger, but has IBS and bout shite his pants that day haha

Got stopped a little over a month ago. Flat out told the cop that I was yacking with the wife and my sister which was true. He let me go and thanked me for my service and in turn I thanked him for his.

Pics of said girls to determine how much you can get away with.

If caught for speeding I usually tell him I have to take a shite really bad and trying to get home

One night I was playing in a softball tournament in the country in Cecelia. Our jerseys were basically LSU colors. So I got off the interstate into Lafayette still going a little fast and got stopped. I told the cop I just drove back from watching an LSU baseball game in Baton Rouge and still had that heavy foot from driving on I-10 for so long. The cop said I’ll just warn you to slow down and let me go.

I'm not proud of this but here it goes:
Years ago I was a poor as hell. Expired inspection sticker, expired registration, and no insurance. I lived near the Gardere area and Staties would consistently have inspection sticker check points in that area.
A Marine buddy of mine once told me that the Louisiana State police were known as the Marine Mafia due to the high amount that were Staties.
With what little money I had I had the bright idea buy and place Marine Corp stickers on my back window.
Low and behold one day I get pulled over at a check point. I know I'm screwed.
Statie walks to my window. I'm sweating bullets. He asks where I went to Boot. I tell him Parris Island. He then tells me to get my registration and inspection sticker taken care of and sends me on my way.
I would later tell my Marine buddy about this and he wanted to slap the black out of me. For the record I'm an Army vet but I feel horrible about what I did to this day.

Neighborhood I used to live in had a big road leading into it, but the street had something stupid like 15 mph speed limit. got busted one day and told the cop that I had just moved there and was still getting used to it...he let me go. Truth was I had been living there for 2 years.

Yes. I was going 50 over once when I was in HS. Told them my gf had been robbed. They let me go. It was either lie or jail, I didn’t want to have to look at my mom or dad from behind bars coming to bail me out.

only time i ever got out of a ticket was admitting it right up front before he even said a word, what good does lying do unless your a hot chick willing to put out to get out of it
