Because I don’t like white Oakley’s and affliction shirts, plus I’d have to get tattoos down to my hands to match the shirt. It’s just not a good look for me, but you should do you

It will kill you because you only have so many heartbeats till you die. Exercise speeds them up, shortening your life and you die sooner.

Work and a puppy.

But seriously, I used to wake up at 0430 every morning which saved me from having to find time during the day, but after getting back from a deployment and starting a new job, it’s very difficult to get up at that time...partially because my puppy wakes me up at 3 every night and I want nothing more in life than to go to bed after that

So you have no life? Sweet.

I'm not making an excuse as there is none.

But Americans work in white collar jobs for far more hours than almost any other country in the world. I'm not gonna compare us to places like Mexico, Chile, and India as they aren't working white collar jobs.

We also have a suburban culture life revolved around cars. We drive everywhere and spend most of our working lives based on a chair based job. That's not helping us.

France for example averages almost 8 hours less of work a week. The difference between 32 hours and 40 hours is incredible.

I ran the night streets till I was near 40, then I woke up and started exercising.
I hope you have started and keep it up in a normal manner, I tend to do things
to the extreme.
Good luck and stay lean.

I work 10 hours a day, plus a 120 mile round trip commute.

Run bleachers at strawberry stadium 5 days a week.

Whats your excuse? I hit the gym 5-6 days a week, and always feel energized. Take 0 pills other than a daily multivitamin. Blood pressure last I checked was 110/65. Test levels are through the roof.

You’re 26. You should be at the gym 6-7 days a week and get good lab results.
You probably aren’t married, have kids, or any appreciable other obligations then work, gym, and hanging out doing what you want. And that’s good, cause that’s what everyone in their twenties should be able to do.

Report back when you’re older, have more shite you HAVE to do, more familial obligations and less time to work out every day. Most people don’t quit exercising by choice. But you get older and shite (life) happens.

I'd be willing to put my hours worked with most of the board and I find time to make it to the gym. The simple fact is people are lazy. You can get in and out with excellent workouts in 45 minutes or less. You can find 45 minutes in your day. Wake up 15 minutes earlier and bring your lunch instead of sitting there for an hour after eating fast food. There, now you have plenty of time to go to the gym.

I love the way exercise makes me feel mentally and physically. It's the process of exercising that I just don't enjoy that much.

We're all going to die. Whats the sense of wasting so much of your life and eating rabbit food to prolong the worst years of your life?

Get back to me when you hit 56. Used to hit the weights 5 days a week just like you. Helped accelerate a degenerative shoulder joint. Also found out, through a couple minor strokes, that I have some underdeveloped arteries in my head and a hyper coagulative blood condition. Those kinds of things will rearrange all of your priorities. The gym isn’t nearly as important to me as it was as a younger man. I still workout, just a much modified version.

As an older guy once told me when I was younger and poking fun at him for slowing down, “Just live, podnuh”.
