This one holiday is propping up an entire industry. No one eats this shite 364 days a year. Why do we continue to let some top hat wearing puritans from 400 years ago dictate what we eat on the 4th Thursday of November?

Turkey is about $1 per pound. You can feed your entire family lean protein for less than a $20. That's a holiday that everyone can participate in without spending a lot if you don't want to. The best part is, you can do it however you want.

Wasn't aware the Pilgram police would come and arrest you if turkey isn't present at your gathering.

And I eat turkey all the time. Good cheap protein.

Ok, deli sliced turkey can pass as food. It’s probably not even turkey, though. Cat meat, most likely.

What? Did someone put a gun to your head and force you to eat it?

If you don’t want it, don’t eat it.
