In a vacuum the play calling has not been terrible. It just hasn’t.

I mean, fair enough, but is your explanation for such a low ranking offense the fact that we have new players on offense? Does that justify a 104th ranking?

And wouldn't execution of WRs be helped with a better offensive coach?

Are you saying we couldn't bring anyone in to improve that number at all?

And I have to tell you, if recruiting is the problem, I'm even more concerned. O has recruited the last 3 classes.

Exactly

Even if Bama is world beaters, our other 8 teams aren't. There is no way in hell an elite team should rank that far down, other than the fact our coaches have no clue on how to use their talent

Also probably why Canada told EdO and SE to frick off when he was the OC. Absolutely no telling, the resistance he was getting

We can both be a good team and have a bad offense

We’ve done it for years.

We just need to get better on offense.

This was a Les Miles staple....but he had much better RB's usually.

104 is really, really bad though.

Are you asking if I think there are better OCs than SE?? Lol yes. Who wouldn’t say that?

No he hasn’t. He has 1 full class & that is the freshmen class this year. When he took over for Miles I think we had 5-6 spots left to give for that year. The class for this year looks strong.

It’s not a recruiting problem with the current staff. It’s turning over the roster with the new regimes players. For instance, next year should feature WRs such as Chase & Marshall that are the most talented guys at their position. They just aren’t playing right now cause of youth

I’ve been getting blasted all year for saying that the offense has been fools gold.
me too, with most replies being "look at our record" and "I don't care if we win 2-0, I'm happy!"

Of course, that's ridiculously simplistic and those people just wanted to bury their heads in the sand and not acknowledge the obvious.

Well now it's evident to the entire world.

OK. Are you saying we shouldn't try to improve that coaching spot?

Hey Beessnax. Argue your side regarding the 104th offense. Why is this not a coaching issue

We have played the toughest schedule in college football this year. Those teams will of course hold us down as far as season wide statistics go. Winning happens on the score board, not the stat sheet.

I'm happy with 10-2.

Go be a Bama fan if you have to have perfect seasons because our football program isn't structured to have them.

Dude, there's no need for the anger.

Some of us just simply want to do the best we can to improve the offense if we can. That's all.

“ Start for Bama”

Because coach E/O don’t have the offensive talent available to them that Alabama has they gets a pass for their team not scoring a pt in TS in 8 qts??

We have the talent to beat Ga badly, but not score on Bama? I don’t buy that for a min.

That’s still not an argument. You seem to be ok with a terrible offense. I’m saying that something needs to change. We happen to have a defense winning games for us, but at some point you need offense. I want to at least give bama a damn game. And beat Florida.

Also, unless I go get another degree from another school, I’m an LSU fan for life, so not looking for another university to root for. It’s been my school since I was born and always will be. That is a bullshite deflective argument because you really don’t have one.

He was on staff and a recruiter before he was promoted to interim, then hired as head coach. He has had a significant role in recruiting for four seasons at the least. The same applies to Coach Ensminger.

These are all, in some way, THEIR guys.

Well Miami was a fraud, and Auburn's nowhere near what we thought they'd be. Neither are close to Top 10 teams, like we thought at the beginning of the year. Florida's got problems, and MSU is ok, but not much more.

Now yes, UGA and Bama are elite, but the rest of our schedule has turned out to be less than we thought.

Remember when you threw a hissy fit in another thread about me not having a point because I asked a question in response to one of your posts? And I said I could go through your post history and finds hundreds of examples of you doing that exact thing?

This is one of those times.
