Help me Rant - So WHY exactly are we supposed to win this game?

It is going to be a highly emotional contest for a period of time. that is very hard for anyone to argue or contest.

I have been listening to all the rhetoric, and I am not seeing why we should win tomorrow.

Has Alabama played much of anyone this year? No, they have not. That doesn't mean that they have not played quality competition in years past and don't know what competition looks like.

I will also say that this is probably not nearly the best defense Alabama has fielded in recent years. They do have some weaknesses. I am not sure that we have the offense to exploit those weaknesses. What typically kills Alabama is speed. We have to be honest that we are slower than usual at RB, and we don't have the deep passing game to exploit any speed in the passing game.

Now to the biggest issue of RED ZONE OFFENSE. It sucks. It just does. Why will that change now. We have not been holding back. We might be able to pull out some cute plays, but we saw how that worked for Georgia. We have to be on our top game, with some innovative misdirection play calling, in order to smash mouth with the Tide near the goal line.

Our defense is good. Damn solid. Strong men of whom I am proud to say represent LSU. We have to be real again. What Bama is rolling out there is serious next level talent. Never in Saban's tenure has an offense been so potent. The line blocks (read holds) the receivers have after burners up their arse, and Irv Smith, Jr. could be our biggest matchup nightmare out at TE. Seriously, who is going to cover him?

What bothers me is the typical key to the V for this game. Bama has to play their game, and they will likely win. LSU has to play their BEST GAME, and hope a few things don't go so well for the opposition.

Miami was rolling with a shite QB.
Auburn just ended up sucking this season.
We caught Georgia on a seriously bad day.

Bama marches in.
They will be ready.......Will we???
