yeah... pretty much every one of his peers learned he wasn't worth listening to for aeons. so, this isn't news. random thread of hate tho. i mean, the guy did interesting work on a few things and he beat the odds for sure and lived a long time. good for him.

when i get frustrated he got such a spotlight (almost solely due to his affliction and living forever), I try to realize how I would have played his hand. i honestly don't know if I would have played it THAT differently except to not waste time on the concept of God and relating my own personal thoughts about it to people who don't give a shite what I think about it all.

To scientifically 'prove' that there is God (Self-Aware Being), I.e., a Self-Aware-Being ESSENCE residing as the Basis for the manifestation of all Matter and Energy (Anti-Matter, Dark Energy, Et al)...Science must simply verify that such a Self-Awareness exists in Matter and Energy. Pretty damn self-evident that it does, as my typing these words accomplishes that task.

The relative Power of a Self-Aware Being (the "I AM" of Biblical Lore), is relative to the 'size' and accumulative intellectual/cognitive ability of a particular Self-Aware Entity (Soul). The bigger and more complex the Entity and it's ability to understand, retain and apply the Power of Knowledge, the more powerful said Entity is.

For every single grain of sand on this whole Planet, there are 10,000 stars. That is the scientifically established estimate; that which is known. Does not factor in the Unknown; or the (other and infinite Parallel Universes).

If the accumulation of Knowledge directly relates to the relative cognitive ability - and therein, Power - of an Entity (obvious that it does), and Universal Matter and Energy most surely manifest innumerable Entities of varying cognitive, self-aware ability....it is further obvious that Self Awareness (potentially) dwells within Matter and Energy. Fact.

Given the above fact, and given the 'size' (immeasurable, incomprehensible, infinite) of our entire manifest and unknown Matter and Energy Universe(s) - indeed holding the potential for Cognitive Self Awareness per the above - then it becomes a fait accompli that the evolutionary growth toward Entities becoming more complex and powerful, and as such, perhaps THE basic creative Axiom which underlies Universal movement, toward a predictable end.

Bottom line. Cognitive Self Awareness exist in manifest (and un-manifest) Matter and Energy. Individuals Entities (Souls) experience life, learn Knowledge, and evolve into more powerful Entities. And they do so eternally - or can, assuming that they continue through the Fermi Paradox "Great Filter", which filters out Entities that acquire extraordinary Power before acquiring the extraordinary Wisdom to handle that Power.

IMHO, the "Great Filter"...is...Jesus. God's *Intellect*, is reality to the size of the manifest Universe(s). But that is another argument.

I know.

sorry for edit. if>is. should have proofread.

What if there is no old man, creator god at the helm and instead the entire universe itself is conscious and alive? What if our own souls are simply drops in that ocean of consciousness, split apart at the moment to experience reality before eventually flowing back and returning that knowledge to the whole? Maybe all the world's religions are both right and wrong at the same time and the gnostic traditions were closer to the truth all along.

A couple of distinctions between Trump and Hawking:

Hawking was smart;

Hawking never paid for pussy.

This is dumb.
There is absolutely no proof of god.
It's a statistical impossibility we are the only intelligent life in the universe.

There is also no proof that God doesn’t exist.

So much I want to say about the Western esoteric tradition, mysticism, the occult etc. So many of those schools of thought have reached pretty much this same conclusion. I'm not sure if you've gone down that same rabbit hole but you summed up a lot of those belief systems in a pretty tidy package here.

That would be the Ideal, ar. And you can bet that if the sum total of all Universal Intellect would construct an Individual Creative Paradigm via the Big Bang...such would certainly be ideal.

Enjoy!

He’s right; there isn’t.

He believed that based on probabilities, it was extremely likely.

It’s ok to believe things there are no proofs for. People get salty when you force those beliefs on them. As a corollary, if Hawking had advocated for us to put little shrines to the intelligent space aliens on public property, he would have been blasted just as hard as when Christians want to erect statues of the Ten Commandments.

In short, OP is silly.

Nope.

He either has proof that he was wrong
Or
He no longer exists.

Those 2 possibilities make you statement wrong.

This in a way reminds me of Christopher Hitchens' quote
Not long before he died he was asked, what if your wrong and there is an afterlife?
Hitchens replied that he doesn't believe there is, but if there turned out to be one he would be pleastly surprised. He then said,"and I like Surprises"

I don't think there is proof that dark matter exists either. It's kind of like a variable they throw in their formulas.

Just like they did with the Higgs Boson. How did that turn out?

But for sure, he knows now whether or not God exists. No one living does.
