So I just saw a pic of myself from a higher angle and noticed for the first time my hairline is receding a little bit. I have already accepted I am gonna shave it totally bald and shiny once it reaches the point of no return, but I want to put that off as long as possible.

Anyone here use any hair loss products, and what degree of success have you had? I did a little research and a lot of the stuff is pretty expensive

I went on there and keeps.com and was going to sign up and give it a try, but they said I have to get the script signed by a doctor because of Louisiana laws on telemedicine.

Tried it all and none of it works. 80% of men have some sort of hair loss. Embrace it and shave it off. I've been doing it for years. Not a bad hair day since.

I’m mid 20s and it’s creeping back already a little.

Yep. I'm 26 and never even noticed until a recent picture.

Three options
Learn to live with it
Shave it all off
Spend a fortune trying to save what you can using different products or do implants and really stupid

My hairline is only slightly receding, but my crown is getting seriously thin. For now, I am just keeping the sides shorter than the top (disparity gradually making this more and more necessary).

I'll eventually go straight buzz cut; I don't know if I can pull off the glossy shaved look.

I’ve been lucky with my hair but I know people who stress about it

I know a guy who had a transplant done and it looks good.

I had planned on shaving it bald when I start losing my hair, but now I have a recurring case of seborrheic dermatitis. I don't think scaly, hardened shells of skin will be very attractive up there.

Bro, just shave it and go on. Unless your entire existence revolves around your hair then ut won't change anything negatively for you.

I haven't had to get a haircut in 20 years.

I noticed it was thinning about 30 yrs ago and started taking Propecia. Been taking it once/day ever since. No adverse side effects. It won’t help regrow hair, but it halts hair loss. I’m basically at the same spot since I started taking it. Good thing is that you can now get generic and cost has come down significantly since then.

My dad had a hairline like Phil Silvers when he was on TV playing Sgt. Ernie Bilko on "The Phil Silvers Show", but my dad was in his late 20's with that amount of hair loss.

I must have gotten my hair gene from my mother's side of the family. I'm now 69 and have a small area about the size of a coffee cup on the crown of my scalp that is balding. If I were Jewish and wore their traditional Yarmulke, you'd never know I was losing my hair.

But, even though I still have a decent head of hair, I'm prone to buzz cutting it all off from time to time just to not having to mess with it, and that is so much easier in the long run.

Generic finastetide can be had for less than $10/month. Much better than “just accept it bro…shave it off”

Deep down most who shave their head know they would rather a full, thick head of hair if given the choice
