Seems sketchy, you don't own that information...but you're assuming your kid can remember a two hour lesson. My 12 yr old has a Fortnite length attention span, so my guess is that he won't remember crap. I guess you just keep going to lessons until they do it right.

I want to video it, but I talked to someone who said no way, that's his business.

Video a private lesson?

Maybe ask him if he gives a shite if you video him?

Good idea. Basically a short video for each aspect like stretching, line-up, drills...instead of a tripod, just a iPhone video so we can recreate it.

All your FB friends will enjoy watching Kastyn's batting practice.

For every 1 paid private sports coach, there’s 10 on YouTube doing it for free. Seems a bit presumptuous of the coach who won’t let you video that he knows something others don’t, wouldn’t you say?

I didn't ask him, won't meet him until this weekend. It's more about figuring out how to train with the child's form...like golf, you don't change everything...just fix what's really wrong.

I agree with private coaching. There’s no way it’s a problem if you film it. If there is, find someone else.

Why yikes? He has goals, and his school can't or won't provide coaching for him to achieve them. He's going to practice, I just want him to practice correctly.

Sorry, coach. Blayze didn’t get enough reps in today. If you were a better coach, this wouldn’t be necessary.

You have the goals I'm sure.

Sad.

He's a kid. Let him be a kid. The best players will be evident noatter how many lessons you buy your Kid. You can't coach/teach size and speed and natural ability.

He's a baller...but this is about cultivating true belief over years of practice. No one is going to bet against him, he's just got build up muscle memory and belief from within.

Why don't you ask the guy what drills you should be running with your kid? I'm sure they aren't some proprietary thing he dreamt up in his penthouse suite

I don’t disagree with it from a business standpoint; I more disagree because it’s shifting the responsibility off of the kid. If he really loves the sport, he needs to learn how to focus and either remember the drills or start writing things down. As long as a parent is there to record and tell him what to do, he’s never going to develop the discipline to focus. He doesn’t have to.
