I didn’t start this thread to argue about if we should be in Middle East or not. This was about showing the human aspects of the attack that really drive home the terror of that day.
Unfortunately for you, conversations tend to have a life of their own.

I've heard them before. I am not going to even listen to it. It really is heartbreaking.

You sound angry. How is us being in Afghanistan right now achieving your objective?
You can bet your arse I'm angry. 17 years later, and it's like it was yesterday.
If we are in Afghanistan killing muslims, then they don't really have the time or wherewithal to achieve their objective of killing or subjugating us, do they?
If we are in Afghanistan killing muslims, then they have to fight our fighting men and women, rather than achieving their objective of doing their fighting and terrorizing against essentially defenseless civilians, don't they?
If we are in Afghanistan killing muslims, then the collateral damage necessary to put down these fricking animals happens to the people who harbor and support these pieces of shite, whether voluntarily, because of apathy, or because they are too fricking stupid to structure their lives and their country so they can't be victimized by fundamentalist animals like these.
Objectives.

Hey bott. I agree. That was my point. Some folks can’t just keep thier mouths shut for one day
I know it’s the world today. I wish people were acting like they did the following months after 9/11. That was a great time to be an American as we all came together.

Everyone should listen to that and if it doesn't piss you off then you are definitely part of the problem.

Speaking of ate up with stupid, what the hell does the home country of the hijackers have to do with anything? Were they official representatives of SA or something? You just want us to attack where the terrorists aren't, or what?

I really hope you're trolling. I find it hard to believe that you're really this stupid.

It is very appropriate, IMHO, to listen to this and remember those men today, and on every anniversary of 9/11.

Name one thing that SA does in any kind of official capacity, to send these people out to kill Americans. I'll wait.

The phone calls and letters were the hardest part of the 9/11 museum.
