Jefferson is the one spending time working with Joey B on routes and timing. Giles might excite on a punt return Saturday.

Looks like the ball is going to be spread around a lot

I don't think you're going to see anyone have a 1000 yard type year and that's ok as long as it gets the job done

I doubt he earns it and shouldn't have gotten it to begin with! But, I do hope he has a good year!

So after one game where we threw the ball like twice in the 2nd half he has no shot to be a top WR?

Same mentality that I’ve fought all offseason with assholes calling our Brossette, Divinity and Jacoby Stevens.

He could earn it for sure. Too soon for Chase.

You can lol all you want. The former tiger greats care about it. Leonard Fournette, Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Jamal Adams and Ryan Clark’s opinions matter.

Yours does not.

I think he will probably stick out like a sore thumb when we look back on it. He'll be ok though.

Don't sleep on Marshall & Chase. I do believe Giles is too good of a player not to make an impact this year.

He earned the number by dicking on the 2 NFL corners we had starting last year while he was on he scout team

Lets give him a few games before we declare him not worthy of 7

I think Chase is gonna be an incredible receiver this year for us. That touchdown catch (and it was a TD) showed his potential for greatness. Great catch and he was able to keep his feet in bounds after a difficult catch. I'm excited to see what he can do the rest of the year.

The number 7 is the most coveted number on the team not 18.

yes.

As opponents realize we do indeed have RBs and a rush game safeties will be moved, and Giles will have more room to roam and dead spaces to run through.

His acceleration is exceptional. You could see it on his one catch (those first two steps were super quick), which he dove forward to try for first down and on his punt return.

I predict his YAC is going to be great once we start bringing safeties down.
