I think so....the players see that the program is headed in the right direction...

Not if they tank the rest of the year but it did quiet the people saying LSU would win 6 games and their program was trending down. That has to be a good thing, at least for the moment. That and being the only game on Sunday probably helped expose LSU to different fans.

For fricks sake.... Could it possibly help recruiting if you're the most watched game on opening weekend, you host a ton of recruits and you boatrace #8 Miami then shoot up the rankings?!? I don't know..... Maybe!!!!

Why must people on this board be so harsh and rude? I don't understand. I guess you feel inadequate in other crucial areas of your life and must compensate.

Short changed, are you?

Better way to ask the question (so as not to be attacked) would’ve been “How much did the win help us in recruiting?” Most of us realize you were just opening it up for discussion, but there are some savages on this board that prey on any slight.

But as some have mentioned, I think it was huge for recruiting. Most viewed game on opening weekend and a dominant performance. How could it have not helped?

It's hilarious because most of the people who reply harsh wouldn't even pull that shite face to face pure pussy... But to answer your question fam I think so

To answer your question, absolutely. Prime time T.V. only game on that night, multiple recruits were at the game in the first place. With all the negative publicity that surrounded the program before the season, the win shut that up pretty quick.
