If true I just don't understand what his rush is after two major knee surgeries that kept him out of football for two years. A transfer from him just seems to be a big overreaction and premature.

He went on a rant over The WR’s the oline and qb. I can tell he’s worried that O and LSU are n trouble. Imo. Lots of unknowns for sure

2 guys that probably never played or coached football think they know how to develop a qb...ridiculous.

If the rumor is true (which I'm sure it isn't since the wise admins saw fit to whack that horrible rumor thread), considering what we got from our QB's in the spring game, the only thing that would have changed that could cause a shift with Narcisse is the arrival of Burrow. So to me, that would indicate, yes Jimmy, Burrow will be the starter.

I mean, they're both pretty well-connected within the athletic department and their former colleague is Orgeron's right-hand man. I'd be surprised if they haven't already heard which way the coaching staff is leaning.

He's setup to start his JR and Sr years if he can beat out Brennan

It's actually pretty funny that they are all bracing for impact when it was their station that was pushing the O hire so hard. Now they don't think he can get the job done, but they want everyone to forget that they were pushing for him.

this will be his third season sitting out. i don't blame him if he doesn't want to wait until his jr year to play.

No, O owes it to 85 people to position the team to win. Protecting the egos of 1-2 folks isn’t a good reason

Is there a guy that can consistently complete more than half his passes?

Pick that guy.

Meh. Wait until after the next scrimmage to narrow down to a #1 and #2.

If he is not clearly the best by now then he's not going to be clearly the best in a couple of weeks and this whole endeavor was a bust.

He wants to play Burrow. Just get him prepared already. Every day he isn't getting first team reps is a day of preparation lost that can cost him big time.

There is no way to go about this where no one gets their feelings hurt. O just needs to do his damn job and make a decision.

Really hope they can keep Narcisse.

I know not many are expecting this, but if Burrow does light it up he very well could go pro and be gone just after one season.

I'd be willing to bet they are ready to make the decision inside the building, if they haven't already.

Guessing Ott is looking for a middling opportunity. Announce the starter, hope the line moves and he can get a nice middling bet.

WHAT IF they have already decided on the starter.

WHAT IF they told the other three guys last night.

WHAT IF one of them didn't like it.

All are possible.
