They had a marathon running yesterday with
Meet the parents
Meet the rockers
Along cane Polly
I laughed my arse off all day
Why do a lot of people dislike him?

Tropic Thunder was a huge surprise coming from Stiller. He needs to make more movies like that.

I don't think it was very well received by critics, but I really liked the Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Meet the Parents is an all timer for me. I laugh at it no matter how many times i've just watched it.

envy and heavy weights are very underrated as well
I also enjoyed starsky and hutch not to mention something about mary is a bonafide comedic classic
not sure why people hate on him most of his films stack up well to other top notch comedians.

I think my favorite is still

Along came polly
Heartbreak kid
Something about Mary
I love all of his awkward comedy in the above. Once I bought a box set of his Ben Stiller Show from the early 90s and it's only 2 seasons but it's pretty good as well.

My top 5 Stiller movies:
Honorable Mention - Tropic Thunder, Dodgeball, and Night at the Museum. Not counting bit parts like Anchorman, Happy Gilmore, etc.
I know I am in the minority, but I can't stand the Zoolander movies/character

Tropic Thunder and Dodgeball are the only two Stiller movies that don't make me hate him.

I cry laughing every time in along came Polly in the opening credits when PSH busts his arse on the slick Dance floor.

His more recent stuff hasn't been nearly as funny, I think that's the main criticism. He still had a ton of hilarious movies, but they've tapered off.

The entire therapy session with Richard Jenkins in Something About Mary is gold.
Ted: I couldn't keep up with the flow of traffic anymore I felt like I was going to die. I pulled into a rest area, parked the car, and just started shaking.
Psychiatrist: You know...rest areas are homosexual hang-outs.
Ted: Huh?
Psychiatrist: Highway rest areas--they're the bathhouses of the nineties for some gay men.
Ted: What are you saying?
Psychiatrist: Oops, time's up. We'll have to delve into that next week.

He's got some great ones in his catalog, but he plays very similar characters over and over again. He has the dickish but trying to keep it cool while being neurotic character in Along Came Polly, Night at the Museum, and the Focker movies. Then, he has the over the top character from Dodgeball, Happy Gilmore, and Heavy Weights.
With that said, it's hard to hate on a guy who has been that funny for that long. Heavy Weights, Tropic Thunder, and Dodgeball are absolute classics that I rewatch often.

Is this accurate? I like him but the newer stuff isn't as hilarious as his older stuff.
