Fr33
No one asked to see my id in whole foods in Napa today.
Food. No booze.
No one asked to see my id in the 76 station. Gas and a power lottery ticket.
No one asked to see my id in hardesters in hidden valley lake. Food. No booze.
I ate a nathans kosher hot dog with chili at foster freeze in lower lake ca. No id necessary.

Some older people still pay by check. They get asked to show ID usually. Occasionally I’m asked for ID when paying by credit card
It is not typical to ask ID anymore, but it
Probably was when Trunp last shipped.

Are you seriously fricking retarded? Do they feel you're to fricking stupid to have an ID to purchase alcohol, so they feel sorry for you, and sell you your wine coolers anyway?

I honestly can't remember the last time was asked for ID outside of an airport.
To write a check (Fleur De Lis)
To open a bank account
To open a charge account at a local building materials store.
To rent a car
To buy alcohol at the store
To buy alcohol at a restaurant
To rent a piece of machinery from AAA rent all
To return an item to Lowe’s.
All in the last month.

There's a gaping hole in this list called "grocery store" that would make it actually be relevant to this thread.

So not in grocery stores, golfer.

You specifically pointed out that you don’t know the last time you had to produce identification outside of an airport. I responded with my instances.

Probably right next to the doctor’s office that performs unnecessary tonsillectomies.

I understand, but I haven't done any of those things in forever except rent a car (at the airport). I don't drink, so I'm sure that cuts waaaay down on being carded.

Every time I used my CC in the EU earlier this year I was asked to present ID to match my signature with what I signed.
Don’t the proggies want to be more like the EU?

Happens all of the time when I travel through or in Florida.
I’ve never been asked in Louisiana.

Or I can just pay cash.
This is the only correct answer!
Again, any kind of financial card the merchant agreement includes verification by comparing to a picture ID.
If the merchant fails to verify, that is a violation of the contract and all transactions not verified can be denied reimbursement by the financial institution providing the card reader.
And again, PIN is an ID. It contains the term Identification in the acronym. Stop being obtuse on that. (your daughter is not financially responsible, there is an adult ID tied to her account)
Your phone is tied to all kinds of ID including your financial institutions which require photo ID. Your phone contains GPS tracking, data collection including voice and possibly fingerprint ID.
You are either very gullible, very dumb, or just being contrarian to deny ID is involved with every transaction except cash (and at some point the cash was tied to an ID transaction).
Your grocer should be reported for encouraging ID theft and fraud. They might even be in violation of a state/city/local ordinance that requires photo ID verification in order to try to prevent crimes like ID theft and fraud.

Not visa gift cards.

Is this really something libs are going to stir shite over?
If you've never been asked for ID when using your credit card, then you live under a rock.
