Same. It's just a habit for me to bring my ID everywhere.

Somehow I was able to get one even though it's supposed to be damn near impossible for ppl who look like me to yet one

I believe the proper scientific term for a person who never leaves the house without an ID is "grownup".

Then what's your point?

A PIN is an ID, that's the point. You provide an ID every time you type in your PIN (or your daughter whichever)

Also, read your credit card contract, your cardmember agreement. Signature on the back is required to be verified for all transactions made in person against a photo ID with signature.

The fact the the merchant is in violation of their end of an agreement/contract with the card reader issuer does not negate your own contract the card issuer.

Card I got last week. If I wanted to I could get out of paying the almost $1k charged by my dentist with no penalty since I have a "paid" receipt from the guy and his office violated the terms on their end of the transaction. I'm not liable for their acceptance of a "not valid unless signed" card. Good thing I like my dentist.

Same thing goes for any retailer who fails to uphold their end of the agreement and fails to compare signatures to picture ID. Retailer has to abide by the contract or the card issuers can deny payment.

He was referring to ID.

A PIN is a form of ID.

A PIN is completely unrelated to Trump's statement.

Sounds like you should hold on to it.

What did YOU have to present to open the account tied to that PIN? If it involves a bank operating within the borders of the USA and/or its territories you are required under Federal Statutes to present a photo ID to open an account of any nature, including safety deposit box.

ETA: I worked for a small bank for a decade. Can't BS me over opening accounts or on banking procedures.

Go frick yourself with your 35 posts and your shitty OP.

More evidence that thread starting privileges should have a threshold on TD as I have suggested through the years.

Not my daughter's ID. She wasn't even born yet when I opened that account.

Trump never shopped for food.

He bought booze and they carded him.

Seriously, what kind of person doesn’t have their ID with them and use it multiple times a day?

Have you worked at a grocery store in the last decade? Not only do you not need to show ID, if you use a debit card you don't even have to hand it to the cashier.(If you actually even use a cashier instead of self check-out.)

Hell, I can use my phone or my watch and the PIN number and never even pull out my card.

Or I can just pay cash.

Trump doesn't drink. But maybe he was buying booze for his harem of porn "stars". He's a generous guy, our GEOTUS.
