Marcus, you have played in Death Valley you know how tough it is for teams to come here and win and with the way our defense looks to be shaping up like. Come on BAW ain't NO way the cocks are going to be a tougher beat for UGA than us Tiger's no fricking way!!!

To be fair, USCe had had UGA's number for a while, when Richt was still there.
Can Muschamp keep that trend going? I don't know. He certainly didn't have much success at a better school with access to better recruits, but anything can happen.
I don't think Spears is actually off base here. Both of those teams are in the east, so neither can really afford a loss.
We are sort of an unknown. Lots of talent, new OC, Aranda of course..... but is the coaching, head coaching leadership, there?
Spears isn't too far off. Again, it's preseason talk so no need to really get all worked up.

I think many of y'all take their opinions too personally. At the end of the day, it don't mean shite, and don't you want LSU to be under the radar?

Seriously, I see a lot of "Intolerance for different opinions than your Own" on here.

I hope this week is an eyeopener for the posi Tigers. The national perception of LSU hasn’t been this low since 2000. Don’t get me wrong, this isn’t allon O. It’s on Miles, his coaches, the administration, O, and the players. Complacency set in and is now evident. It’s on O to get us out of the funk.

Spears openly admitted on SEC Now yesterday morning that he was a big proponent of O getting the job and he is still on that train.
It is clear that he is doing everything possible to lower expectations for O so that anything above a 6-6 type season will be seen as some huge victory.
It is a real shame because I love the guy for his time at LSU but he has a new job and has to do what he has to do to save face on air.
It’s ironic that O has been getting so much praise for his lame “admitting his mistake” it’s Canada (damn, mistakes and learning from them seem to define this guy), yet these media types will never admit how wrong they were to support him and will deny it to the detriment of the our school.
Great Tiger, but there is a reason Spears and McFarland aren’t running the athletic department (not that they could do any worse than the idiot doing it now).

Most likely referring to the East. Who cares though.

Dude. Just take a deep breath. The season is almost upon us. No one on here has forgotten your stance on O. You don't have to keep reminding us. Win, lose, or draw, it's about to go down...just let it play out.

I saw Spears’ comments about O yesterday morning but didn’t run here and post about it.
But someone else bringing up more of his commentary up seemed like a good spot to mention those comments.
Your stance is equally well known, yet you don’t seem to mind reminding anyone about it. And given your post count in the month since you joined, perhaps you’re the one that needs to take a breath

It’s week 2. Uga is making some scheme shifts on both sides of the ball.

So you want his reporting to be biased? I'm sure your post history shows you calling others homerism out.
Having said that, I do feel he tries way to hard not to be biased/homer

If you haven't figured out that Spears is a Saban guy, NOT an LSU guy, then I don't know what else to tell you.

Spears is a hater! I love how we’re being underestimated

Welcome to the state of LSU football. Did I like the CEO hire, no. But hopefully he has a plan and can get LSU back competing for championships but I have my doubts.

I love it!
-Keeps pressure off this new offense in offseason
-Puts a chip on our shoulder (we need a bit of humbling and hunger)
-Let's be the underdog, attack, and surprise them all!
