Legalizing all drugs doesn’t = ‘high school kids shooting up heroin’
A consenting, free adult should be able to do what he wishes with his body.
A consenting, free adult should be able to do what he wishes with his body.

Agree in principle. But we live in an entitlement society so we have to pay for the consequences of these people’s free will.
No legalization until consequences arent paid for freely
That will never happen so no legalization.

Period. Prohibition doesn't work. All it does is create criminals.

In general I agree with this, but rarely does one’s actions have absolutely no effect on others.
For example, if you say “I should be able to drive without a seatbelt - my body, my choice”. It sounds great. But if you get into an accident and your body gets thrown 50 yards down the highway, the burden to clean you and your organs off the road fall to someone else - someone else who has to go home after work and try not to think of those images.

While I generally agree I dont think many people are thinking of the medical costs of rampant drug use. You really think people will just let people die regardless of their choices?
How high would insurance premiums be if you said you used heroin regularly?
There's no way legalizing hard drugs on a grand scale doesn't bite society in the arse.

Why do you think the country has the problems we are experiencing today? Children being influenced by irresponsible self absorbed adults has created this mess, now we just need to introduce more drugs into the mix.

Including killing innocents in auto crashes when high. Crapping in streets and on your neighborhood sidewalk and throwing himself down on interstates creating chaos. Blocking your entry and exit to you work, home and restaurants. Gagging themselves to throw up @ your table and pizzing within feet of your children and splashing you and your family. All of which the drug induced and left wing psycho's are doing currently with their bodies.

Ok but when that free adult ruins his life....Tax payers shouldn’t have to pay for his poor choices.
Legalize it but remove the safety nets.
