This has got to be one of the safest records in college sports.

hey Tenn Tech hit like 130 this year

Chris Jackson's 30.2 ppg in his freshman year is probably pretty safe as well, considering the 1-and-done rule might be gone soon.

Yep. Up there with Pistol Pete’s career scoring record.

Might want to check that year

Didn't we do that in 1998 when Arizona and USC basically had a football score in the National Championship? (21-14). I think after that it's what made the NCAA say "yeah we need to put an end to this" and that's when they introduced the -3 and the 2-5/8" barrel. Damn it must have been awesome to play ball in the mid 90's. Every kid had to feel like they were on juice

I don't know about that. Trae Young was seriously threatening it for a while last season. With the ever increasing emphasis on the 3 point shot and faster pace of play in college basketball, you never know. It's going to take a situation where a guard is a good/great shooter and his coach basically gives him free reign to run the offense (which is basically what Brown did with Jackson)

My point is that anyone who might seriously challenge that will soon be able to just go pro anyways.

Pete Incaviglia hit fricking 48 HR his junior year at Ok St.
That record ain't going anywhere, ever.

It was the Stanford national championship game in 2001 I think.
