I totally agree. I’m not even much of a college baseball fan anymore because of this.

Agree as well. No threat of the long ball to tie it up or take the lead on any swing. Very few gap shots that are triples off the bat. It's just a different game with a different vibe. That's fine, especially since that's what they were going for, but it's much harder to watch as a casual observer.

I miss the old game as well but saying there’s no threat of changing the game with one swing of the bat anymore is being dishonest. Oregon State just did it in one of the most diifcult places to hit a homerun in college baseball. Did you miss the super regional against ULL?

True, just doesn't seem as prevalent. I feel like the pre-BBCOR bats were fine, but that's also what I grew up with, both watching and playing. The changes while necessary to a certain extent, were an overreaction to a cultural & political movement around head injuries.

Bump… Tennessee is up to 129 in their 54th game… 2.38 a game
