Morning Advocate - Parrish gives LSU 14 commitments for the Class of 2019 and pushes the Tigers’ ranking to No. 6 nationally according to Rivals, No. 7 according to 247Sports and No. 11 according to ESPN.

Morning Advocate - Suddenly, quarterbacks are flocking to LSU. After the Tigers were unable to sign a quarterback in the 2018-19 recruiting cycle, LSU has picked up a transfer for this season and a 2019 commitment in a little over a month, and has another commitment lined up for the Class of 2020.

Morning Advocate - Highly regarded dual-threat quarterback Peter Parrish from Phenix City (Alabama) Central announced his commitment Friday morning. His decision came shortly after what 247Sports.com described as a strong showing Thursday in LSU’s elite camp that earned Parrish a scholarship offer.

“I will be An LSU Tiger And Have Committed Today!!” Parrish announced on Twitter. He posted photos of himself with coach Ed Orgeron and members."

So, since we are using these rankings here, we are going to agree that LSU had the 6th most talented team last year, correct?

This is an incredibly ignorant statement. People that believe this must have just started paying attention to recruiting.

Signing highly rated quarterbacks hasn't been an issue. It's running an offense that suits the ability of those guys that seems to be a problem. Recruiting guys that fit a system....hopefully if we recruit a dual threat guy we run that type of offense not make the guy be a statue in the pocket

No such thing as the B.R. Morning Advocate, and hasn’t been for decades. It’s just “The Advocate” now.

Canada couldn't pull in a single QB who wanted to play in his offense.

Ensminger has multiple who do want to play in his.

Should've convinced Steve to take the job last year.

So, now LSU has quickly returned to the Miles "Square Peg-Round Hole" QB recruiting scenario.

I thought Orgeron and Ensminger wanted only Pro-Style Passing QB's.

So, what's up with the offers to the "Dual-Threat Glorified Running Backs?" (Sanders/Parrish)

Do they (O/E) even know what kind of Offense they want to run and/or the type of QB to run it?

Parrish = State of Alabama QB with no Bama or Auburn offer. Why not? That's all I need to know.

LSU comes running to pick up the scraps. Anthony Jennings 2.0. (No Georgia or Ga. Tech offer)

It just keeps getting better.

Tells me the recruits, especially QBs, are seeing something in the new offense that they like

LSU has always had talent coming in at QB, the issue was using it.

We’ve got one for 2019 and one for 2020. That's "flocking"?
