Taking a family vacation to San Antonio this summer, what are some good place to eat that we must check out?

Freetail Brewing serves good pizza and beers. They also did a sour collab with a Brieux Carre that you can drink at the source.

I was going to start this same thread as I'm headed there in two weeks for a conference.

You aren't providing much info as to what you are looking for, but Bliss is one of the best restaurants in SA.

Dough
Great pizza.
And not your typical pizza either.

Dough is legit. They shipped the pizza oven over from Italy, and dropped it in through the roof with a crane. They’re zeal for fresh ingredients goes so far that they imported and raise their own water buffaloes to make mozzarella!
Boudro’s - no it’s not Cajun.
Shilo - great German deli for breakfast or lunch.

Depending on the ages of your kids, it can be a kick to get one of those giant 3 pound cinnamon rolls at Lulu's bakery & cafe.

For breakfast, try the Magnolia Pancake Haus. Best breakfast in town. Lunch I would suggest Freetail for some beer and pizza. For a nice dinner, go to the JW Marriott and eat at the Cibolo Moon. Try the burnt ends.

We took a family vacation there last summer and stayed on the RW. We had weekend brunch at Las Canarias, it was out of this world. It is in the La Mansion del Rio hotel, and it opens out onto the Riverwalk.

If your kids are sweets lovers, take them to get the giant cinnamon roll at Lulu's Bakery. They'll be tickled. Queso-covered chicken fried steak, and great BLT

Go to John T. Floore's Country Store in Helotes. Try and go when they have live music. Cool place and great tamales.
Have a drink at the Menger Hotel Bar.

If you haven’t made your trip yet, I highly suggest Acenar on E. Houston street for fantastic Mexican food.
