Anyone here do this? I know some people bring Flowers out to the grave on birthdays or anniversary of their death etc..

I for one can't Stand graveyards but I understand why some do it. Just not My scene.

Graveyards are strange constructs. We use massive amounts of land to entomb bodies below headstones that will be ultimately forgotten and disregarded.

Scruffy thinks they are wastes of prime real estate.

I recite the Aranda rights before each home game next to pee-paw’s tombstone.

My grandmother and her sister would go graveyard visiting on Sunday afternoons, weather permitting. When I got old enough, I would drive them. They would tell all the old family stories, and talk about the people they liked and didn't like who were buried there.

My dad died February 20th and I haven’t been since the funeral

My family thinks this is weird but I don’t see the point besides making myself sad

I live over 300 miles from family but every time I go I visit my brother's grave site, sit on the bench, and drink two beers. Makes me feel close for some reason.

I stop frequently at my mom's grave. Sometimes it's on her birthday or the day she died but most times it's just when I'm feeling a little down. I find a special peaceful type feeling when I do this. It's been almost 19 years ago we lost her but there are times I still want to go and "talk" with her. Call me a puss or whatever but she was always there for me no matter what and I believe she always will be.

Miss you mom.

We all grieve and cope in our own way.

I personally don't want any time/land/resources wasted on my behalf, but it's fine for others if they choose.

I have a few mementos of lost loved ones, but the most precious thing is memories.

I find viewing headstones interesting, especially older ones. I occasionally visit my family, but I don’t feel too drawn to it yet(plus they are way out of the way to visit). I’m sure once my parents go that will change, but they should still have a long while before anyone has to worry about that. *knocks on wood*
