At least 6 RBs taken before Guice - looks like those character issues were true?

Maybe Mayock knew more than LSU fans after all?

ETA - 6 RBs now.

Did I miss these warning signs about his "character issues" at LSU or is this a new development? I know he was a tad flashy and outspoken, but I never saw anything to give me pause about him as a young man.

He must have really really bombed. Really bombed.

He’s way better than most of those guys.

All because Guice would kneel for the anthem. What weak reasoning.

I seriously doubt it’s collusion but the mob mentality carries over the draft every year with certain players.. He was slated late first through second.. the surprise Is the number and rb names picked ahead of him

doesn't make them true

collins went undrafted and he was a first round grade.

perhaps character concerns.. but i don't believe he is anything to be worried about.. the dude has not even been in trouble. not on the field and not off the field.

Looks more like perceived character issues based on an impending story from TMZ that TMZ has said doesn't exist.

I don't think this is a big deal.

This is the NFL telling Guice they don't think he's that good.

Prove us wrong. It's not uncommon.

We have been watching Guice closely for three years. Whatever character flaws he has are minor by today's standards.

Mayock still had him mocked in the first round

And him falling doesn’t really confirm he has issues. NFL has a weird policy of not caring if you rape someone but if you have a bit of a personality then you’re a problem

He might have had "character issues", but for the most part at LSU, didn't he stay clean from off field incidents? Never followed his career fully, but from what I remember, there was never any drama.

Washington got a steal with Guice regardless. Guy refused to go down, and I thought LSU should have given him more carries vs Bama in 2016. Think he only got 2 touches. Get a guy that can be an every down back like Guice who fights for YAC, then throw in a dynamic back like Chris Thompson to spell him, and you've got a pretty good doth chart at RB.

NFCE now has Guice, Elliot, Barkley, and Ajayi. That was already a fun division, but looks like I'll be purchasing NFL Sunday ticket again.
