Most coolers in made similar to Yeti will give you decent performance. I have icy teks which for me work fine and use attic ice blocks for my food cooler which keeps my food cold while not getting soggy from ice melting.
Yes, they are heavy.
I guess or assume people are mad about Yeti dropping their NRA sponsorship mostly because Yeti made it into the market by advertising to hunters. Now they abandon the people that helped build them up to what they are today.

Reality tho is this is a real Yeti.
Sure it can probably keeps the bears away and 700 sounds cheap for a Yeti that is 160 years old but the damn thing can eat that much in a week so not like you are really saving money.
