All use period or handsfree only?

I'm all for the latter.

the inability to make a phone call while on the road would be pretty annoying

Don't really care. I'll still make calls if I need to, and it's not like a cop will ever be able to tell I'm on a call.

Concur. Hands free is fine with me.

Texting, sure. That’s already the law. Speaking on the phone? bullshite.

If it includes hands-free, absolutely not.

And even then, people use their phones for GPS and other things, so I'm not really sure I'd agree with it at all.

So hands-free or ticket? Yikes I don't like that.
I look at my traffic app 4 times each way on the commute.

And Facebook/OT/Messages 42 times.

This is overkill. If youre texting when you violate the law that’s one thing. It can be looked up through phone records. It’s not the phone it’s stupid drivers.

I don’t support this shite. Nothing will stop me from fapping while driving.

How wouldn't it be enforceable?

Saw plenty of people getting tickets on military bases and in California where it is illegal. A few MP's I knew said it was pretty easy to see who was texting/calling even if they tried to hide it.

This will be like a jay walking law. It’s a law but how much will it be enforced across the country?

Republicans will limit cell phones but not guns. Interesting

How would this affect Ridesharing? Every Uber and Lyft I’ve been in has like 3 phone mounts...
