Tampa. It's not even the most vibrant city in Tampa Bay.

To be overrated, by definition, it has to be rated fairly highly , right ? So I go with the three highly regarded cities I personally don’t enjoy.

That's why I went with Denver. It doesn't mean I think the city sucks but a lot of people seem to struggle with what overrated means.

Ha , and I love Denver . But yeah, “ over- rated “ implies that many people really like it.

As much as I loathe Austin, it's still light years ahead of Houston.

get away from the beach, and there's not much to Miami

Orlando, minus the theme parks, is also pretty useless

Really? I find it to be an amazing city so long as people don't get caught up in politics. It's an incredible combination of many things that people like about various cities all rolled into one. Possibly my favorite city to visit.

It's so beautiful, safe, dense, and vibrant. Good public transportation, tons of great food and the weather is pretty comfortable. Oh, and it's the tech capital of the world.

Austin is way too expensive for being in the middle of Texas. That's my biggest issue with it.

The home prices are inflated compared to the wages I'm seeing. Housing in Dallas is similar but the wages seem a little better with more employment options and the far flung towns/suburbs are better in Dallas, imo. Plus, Dallas's infrastructure is a lot better and obviously it's a bigger metro with more big city things.

San Francisco. Completely unaffordable to the average person. Living on past reputation.

Not unaffordable to visit, though. I love San Francisco

People rate Atlanta highly?

This...Atlanta knows it's a quagmire...it's generally regarded as down the list of cities in Georgia, Savannah being #1

I've been all over the US...
1. SF
2. NO
3. Chicago
4. LA
5. Dallas
