You obviously didn’t see where she unilaterally tried reduced a jury 2nd degree murder verdict to negligent homicide, did you?

Yes, after a trial she tried to convert a murder conviction to a negligent homicide. And it was overturned on appeal.

A judge can have huge impact on cases of course but does not have the power to simply dismiss charges. That power belongs to the DA.

Possession & Distribution of Manufactured Control Schedule II --- $20,000
Possession of Firearm with drugs --- $10,000

Resisting an Officer --- $10,000
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia --- $2,000
Improper Lane Usage --- $500
Failure to Signal --- $500
The total bond was set at $88,000 with one of Judge Trudy White's commissioners signing off after setting the bond.

Just playing devil's advocate here but if he was a legit drug dealer then he could have still posted bond at $88k.

Also, which one of those charges do you think should automatically result in a person being put in jail with no ability to bond out? Firearms with drugs? Felony with a firearm?

I think we as a society are real confused as to whether or not we blame only the shooter for shootings and whether or not we are for more freedom or less.

REPEAT felony offenses...in this case, apparently FIVE arrests in ONE calendar year....should result in NO chance of ANY bail ! Several of these charges were processed thru judge whites' court ! IF, there were ever a case of judicial malfeasance, would this not be the perfect example ?

I guess I’m wrong, but I always thought that was a Federal crime.

Has the rotund bigot from N. Baton Rouge called everyone racist for jumping on poor Trudy yet?

aside from that, I'm guessing the play here will be to blame the police for attempting to apprehend the suspect at Walmart or something similar, therefore absolving judge white of culpability.

The worst part in all of this, is the fact that she allows these shite heads to get out and continue preying on their own people. No one in community sees this, she is allowing predators to continue to prey on the ones she's sworn an oath to protect.

This isn't even about getting back at Whitey, this is about criminals being allowed to terrorize their own, because of her actions.

Maybe, 1 day, some one will realize this.

If her constituents are dumb enough to keep voting for her I doubt they will ever come to this realization. Sadly this woman will be on the bench until she doesn't want to be anymore.

I think she and her constituents could care less about this man getting killed. They would say we'll look at all the black men killed by police ... I'm sure that's what Gravy would say

Condition of bail on the first arrest should be... no criminal activity (gasp). Get arrested again --> bring your tooth brush because your original bail is getting revoked. That's how it worked in the court I clerked for.
