is it light sentences across the board with lower level crimes also?

No she also tried to reduce Derrick Bland’s 2nd degree murder (mandatory life) conviction by a BR jury to negligent homicide (5 years). She was over ruled on appeal. A true piece of shite.

SIAP, but what other cases did she let go besides this one?
i would love to compile a chronological list of her many shady dealing and the criminals she let out only to have them kill or commit another crime
I would also lay the death of the pedophile in zachary on her. Tha'ts the one where the pregnant girl was the victim who had been abused for most of her childhood by him after her mom abandoned her to him for over a decade.
Trudy let the pedophile out almost immediately and suspended any sentence her had so he was basically free and unhindered by any consequence. So the girl and her Bf went and killed him.

Princess Beachem - Did cocaine while carrying a child, who died as a result - Arrested for Feticide - Charge dropped by Judge Trudy White.
4. Aramis Jackson - Arrested in 2009 for a weapons charge - Charge dropped by Judge Trudy White. White told Jackson to perform random acts of kindness. His first act of kindness was stealing his grandmothers automatic weapon, killing Alexandra Engler and shooting her 9 year old daughter several times before stealing their TV.
Not to defend her, but judges don’t simply drop charges on their own. The DA drops charges.

Didn't she also give that rapper probation for a drive by shooting? The only reason he didn't commit 1st degree murder was because he's a bad shot.

Has the rotund bigot from N. Baton Rouge called everyone racist for jumping on poor Trudy yet?

well if the bar revokes her licence, can she be a judge? Cause i would think and ethics review of this would be pretty straight forward
Sadly, ODC has no jurisdiction over a judge. Only SC can do anything, and they won't. She's a black female and is untouchable (cough Janice Clark cough).

I don’t understand how she sleeps at night.
She sleeps very well knowing that she is helping the City of Baton Rouge sink deeper and deeper into the pit of shite it's been going down.
It makes me mad, and it makes me sad to watch what's been happening down there. And I keep wondering when enough will be enough. I keep hoping that someone will try to do something to stop this downward spiral.
It's like the inmates are running the asylum.

White's corruption has been well documented, but exactly what is Hillard Moore doing?
When was he bringing this scum to trial? Does he protest the reductions in bail? What exactly is he doing to protect our interests?

He needs to take heat also. His office has been weak on crime for several years now.

Judge Trudy White
She’s the bitch that murdered the Zachary police officer! She has murdered more people than most prisoners have killed that are on death row. Her agenda is so obvious.
Why is she not disbarred??

You obviously didn’t see where she unilaterally tried reduced a jury 2nd degree murder verdict to negligent homicide, did you?

The State Supreme Court can remove her from the bench if the Judiciary Commission recommends it. According to the LASC's site, only the LASC can discipline a judge, but they can't discipline a judge without the commission's recommendation. The commission is made up as follows. (1) one court of appeal judge and two district court judges selected by the Supreme Court; (2) two attorneys admitted to the practice of law for at least ten years and one attorney admitted to the practice of law for at least three years but not more than ten years, selected by the Conference of Court of Appeal Judges or its successor. They shall not be judges, active or retired, or public officials, other than notaries public; and (3) three citizens, not lawyers, judges active or retired, or public officials, selected by the Louisiana District Judges' Association or its successor. So, basically, the judges get to pick who sits on the commission responsible for investigating them, only that commission can recommend to the Supreme Court that punishment be handed down, and only the Supreme Court can hand out a punishment to a judge. Here's how long the LASC's website says the procedure for the commission to respond to a complaint against a judge takes. STAGE 1 – Screening – 2-4 months STAGE 2 – Inquiry – 3-6 months after the judge’s response is received STAGE 3 – Investigation – 6-18 months STAGE 4 – Hearing Before Hearing Officer – 6-12 months STAGE 5 – Appearance Before the Commission – 3-9 months STAGE 6 – Recommendation of Discipline to Supreme Court – 3-6 months. So, essentially, unless she does something so bad that the Judiciary Commission and the Supreme Court have absolutely no other choice but to remove her from the bench (and make no mistake, there are many far lesser punishments they can use to avoid removing her if they don't have to), the only way to get her off of that bench is to beat her in an election. Good luck with that. This state is so fricked. This post was edited on 3/13 at 6:15 pm
Well now. We are pretty fricked.
:smh:

The fact that the local paper has an opinion article screaming for her job is still a win. Sure we can’t vote her out but we can certainly put enough pressure on her to change her ways

Pretty sure this will only strengthen her resolve as well as her constituents, especially since Dan is white.
