That was our exact workout last Monday. I skipped that day, but it did not seem fun.

Y'all use the CompTrain programming?

Because that is what we use. Just for some reason, we are a week behind.

No idea why.

Workout today at GCF was 3-3-3-3-3 Snatches with all sets the same weight. Warmed up and went 140 for all 5 sets.

Did some back work as well earlier today: Bent Rows, DB Rows and Chin over Bar holds with a negative descent.

..and finished up the day with Snatch Sotts Presses at 115x5 and some snatch balances.

Snatch Sotts at that weight legit. I'm happy I can muster them with a 10# plate on each end.

I went light on snatches, practiced technique. Ground to hang position, hang to standing, hang and high pull, hang power snatch. Don't really know how many times I repeated it but I got some good practice in, still broke a sweat at 65lb. Really need to work on snatches, especially getting depth on the catch.

Shoulder is starting to come along but still gets tired much more quickly than my right side and started to hurt at the end. Hopefully this time next week I can stop babying it.

My ankle mobility was shite today, though. I didn’t use lifters and it was a struggle at the bottom; with my left ankle especially.

I’ll upload a video if I have the time tomorrow.

I like today, but I am beat from yesterday. Plus, those 500 meter runs are going to wipe me out. If a new place opened with a promise of no running, I'd bolt

A.)Power Clean- 6 sets of 2 Reps Ascending in weight
B.)3 Rounds for Time
500 Meter Run
15 Power Snatch (75/55)
10 Pull Ups
C.)100 V-Ups or Gymnastic Crunches ( try to perform 10 reps every 30 sec!)

DT today. No way I can get through the hang cleans at 155. My two rep max yesterday was only 175. I guess maybe I could scale down to 130 or so. Pretty beat up from pushing hard Mon/Tue. May give it a rest and enjoy my son'd baseball game tonight.

I love DT. I love barbell cycling. Every time we do DT, I get excited about beating my previous time.

Yeah. I steamrolled about half of it, but hit a wall and really had to grind 2-3 reps at a time for the last 10 or so
