In a nutshell, 3 sets of max reps with your body weight on the bar.

It was a light day today.

Workout of the Day

A.Alt. Hollow/Arch Tabata

B.Side raises 5 x 30/s (15 legs, 15 upper body), rest 1 minute

C.Weighted Pass Throughs / Dislocates 3 x 10-15 (slow. Ribs down), rest 1 minute

D. Scap Push Ups (5x20), rest 1 minute

Remainder of class- Muscle Up Work



My shoulder mostly felt ok, got a bit achy after the last couple sets of scap pushups.

Tomorrow involves a lot of shoulder. I may have to ask to sub out a couple exercises, or go really light

Aw man, I see short reppers all the time. Especially with shite like push ups, hand release push ups, kettle bell swings, burpees. Hell, anything really.

And not locking it out at the top of the clean. I got called on it yesterday. Too much Instagram watching for me.

Warmup:
3 sets of
100m run
10 walking lunges
5 strict T2B

Strength:
1 rep EMOM Front Squat for 10 mins
5 second negative and 1 second pause at the bottom of rep.
I used 185 lbs

Metcon:
1000m row
30 deadlifts at 225 lbs (I scaled to 185)
50 burpees with lateral jumps over bar
For time-12:36

Those burpees were killer once I fit into the 20’s.

Yeah, I am not talking about technique issues. Hell, a lot of times it's not exactly clear to a lot of us what is expected, and one coach will let me do head cutters a certain way that another coach will not.

Oh. No, I think most people seem to do well on rep counts. Sometimes I decrease my reps on some thing (less so lately, but when i first started) but always ran it by coach first.

I do sometimes lose count of my reps, though, and that sucks, because then you just have to guess and start over from the last number you know you had.

Dude, I get so confused. Doesn't help that I am exhausted. "1, 2, 3, 4...wait, is this round 4? Why did I just say 4? Did I move one of my poker chips?"

Workout of the Day

15 Minute AMRAP

8 Deadlifts (185/125)

8/s DB Push Press (50/35)

8 DB Snatch

8 Push Ups



Since my shoulder is jacked I just used my right arm and went a bit lighter on DLs. So I got to skip 8 reps per round on the push press. Trade off is no rest for my right arm between push press and 8 straight snatches.

7+25. 135lb DLs, 35lb DB, knee pushups.

That's one where I would be confused about whether or not to do RX. Could I? Sure, but wouldn't get many rounds and intensity would be low.

I lost 10 lbs playing on the Greyhound set these last 2 weeks.

My buddy that did it this morning said he had to quit after 1 round because he had to go to work
